Compare waterslide headstock designs for guitar restoration and custom builds. The right artwork, background and application method matter as much as the brand or model name.
A waterslide design transfers from its backing with water. Foil designs provide a metallic finish; check the individual listing and photograph to identify the material. A 3D metal logo is a different product and should be fitted using its own supplied instructions.
Compare the lettering, placement and size with the instrument you are working on. Model names alone do not guarantee the same artwork or dimensions across different versions. Confirm measurements before ordering if they are not shown.
Transparent inkjet decals need a suitable light background. On black or dark wood, use a suitable foil design or a product explicitly marked for dark backgrounds. If you are unsure, send us the product reference and describe your headstock colour.
